We made it to Tokyo and are relaxing and cooling down in the computer room. I forgot my leftover Yen from last time we were here, so I had to buy another little thing from the gift shop to get change. Yay for my new cartoon panda laptop duster, which is currently entertaining Taylor while I type.
The trips went amazingly well - thanks for the prayers. Flying to Chicago was easy, we had a fabulous breakfast with Megan, and we were back to the airport in plenty of time for the int'l flight. The only thing out of the ordinary was me needing to wash Taylor's hair in the bathroom sink at Walker Bros. Pancake House. Apparently we didn't scrub the yogurt out well enough last night, so her hair was super greasy this morning and didn't smell so good. It was something I needed to rectify before a very long flight with her head right under my nose.
Then, we had an extra seat next to us on the flight from Chicago to Tokyo! What a God-send. The flight was better than I ever could have imagined. Taylor was so good about playing with her toys and keeping to herself. She took a couple of really good naps too. I'm hoping the flight to Singapore will be just as smooth, even though she'll be lap-bound the entire time.
We have a couple more hours left before we board for Singapore. We'll be staying in a hotel there overnight before we catch another flight to KL.
Lots of love! I'll write again when I get the chance.
